Social media marketing and Content

Whitney’s which was retrofitted from an old gas station, is located on the north end of Longboat key right off beach. Longboat is a small sleepy beach town where roots run deep and the locals have a sort of “feisty“ way about them. Whitney’s restaurant exudes retro surf vibes from it’s branding to it’s employees. The modern take on dining, our elevated menu al mixed with old Florida memorabilia hanging on the walls the perfect balance of remembering the past but also embracing the future. This is a place for the entire community including tourists and passer bys. The social media is a mix of amazing food photography, shots of it’s gorgeous interiors, customers own photos and mood boards. I wanted the instagram to be more than just a ton of food pics, I want people to follow it because it makes them happy while giving off good beach vibes at all times.

the experience

The experience of Whitney’s should be relaxed, quirky and coastal. My job is to consult and design ways to enhance that. Designing menus and advertisements that fit our vibe but are clean and precise. I have worked along other professionals to nail down music, linens, uniforms, glass wear, table wear, artwork, and interiors.

Bodega

Whitney’s is currently going through a bit of a face lift. We are in the process of converting our bodega into a high(er) end retail shop. My job is to curate what goes into the shop as well as design a plethora of branded merchandise to stock the other half of it. I am working along side vendors, artists, designers and interior designers to create this exciting new venture.

More to come soon.
