Art direction and design

Valkyrie is an AI consulting firm that was starting a new and exciting venture this year, Valkyrie Velocity. Velocity is a science-powered racing team, that is dedicated to bringing machine intelligence to the race track. I was tasked with designing graphics for their formula 4 race car. I studied the makeup of the car and designed many iterations that complimented Valkyrie's existing brand identity. I worked with the car designers, mechanics and Valkyrie team to land on a final design. We wanted something clean but also stood out from other cars so we landed on thick curved stripes that spanned the length of the car, the valkyrie wing spanning the top and side of the car, and complemented it with gold accents to tie in the drivers existing helmet. After the design was finished and applied on the car I was able to attend a photoshoot, film and testing session. The car raced at Circuit of Americas in Austin this past November. It was an amazing experience to be apart of such an awesome team and event.
